Sigma MC-11 (Canon EF) – Which lens works and which doesn’t

Some days ago a new Sony A7 III was delivered to me.
I know that you could spend all your income in expensive Sony lenses – or you try to figure out what lens may be work with the great Sigma MC-11 adapter (Canon EF-E Mount).

All lens tests have been made with firmware as follows:

Lens FW Camera FW MC-11 Status
Canon EF 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6L IS USM 2.00 – 3.00 1.19 AF works very fast, with touch AF on frame borders sometimes focus pumping / problems at large focal length – good MF picture quality
Canon EF 70-200mm f/2,8L IS III USM 2.00 1.18 AF works fast even with touch focus on edge at 200mm – good MF picture quality
Canon EF 75-300mm f/4.0-5.6 III 1.01 – 2.00 1.17 – 1.18 AF works fairly fast, tooks longer at larger focal length, with touch AF sometimes problems at large focal length – good MF picture quality

Tamron 28-300mm f/3.5-6.3 Di VC PZD (A010E) 2.00 – 3.01 1.19 – 1.26 AF works fast, with touch AF on frame borders sometimes focus pumping / problems at large focal length – good MF picture quality -> !!! no AF before MC-11 FW 1.19 !!!
Tamron AF 28-300mm f/3.5-6.3 XR Di VC LD AD ASL IF Macro (A20E) 2.00 1.18 – 1.19 Lens readiness takes ages! (aprox 35 sec – in rare cases up to 90 sec!) then AF may work fairly fast, some produced lenses of that type do not provide AF at all (eg. SN 019083), at large focal length sometimes AF-pumping and problems with touch AF – good MF picture quality
Tamron AF 28-300mm f/3.5-6.3 XR Di LD ASL IF Macro (A061) 2.00 1.19 AF works fast, with touch AF on frame borders sometimes focus pumping / problems at large focal length – good MF picture quality
